What we collect
- Account details: email, username, name and a securely hashed password.
- What you post: profile info, posts, comments, messages and uploaded images. We remove location data (EXIF) from images.
- Basic usage data for artist statistics, such as profile views and link clicks. These are stored with an anonymous identifier.
How we use it
To run the service, personalise your feed, show artists their stats, keep the community safe and send account emails (like password resets). We don't sell your data.
Embedded players
When you press play, the music loads from Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Apple Music or Bandcamp. Those services have their own privacy policies.
Artist pages and claims
Unclaimed artist pages only use information artists already publish on streaming services. When you claim a page or ask for verification, we use the proof you send only to confirm your identity. We don't ask for ID documents, and we keep a record of the decision (not your documents) for safety and legal reasons.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time and permanently delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your posts, comments and messages.
